Women's measuring guide

Be sure to measure your body. We recommend that you do not measure over shirts or slacks. Remember to keep the tape close to your body but not tight.

Bust
With arms at your side, measure across the fullest part of your chest, under your arms and across your back. Be sure to keep tape measure straight and parallel to the floor.

Waist
Measure at your natural waistline at its smallest part.

High hip
Measure the protruding points of your hip bones. Generally this is approximately three inches below your natural waist.

Low hip
Measure the widest point of your hips. Generally this is approximately eight inches below your natural waist.

Inseam
Measure the inside of your leg from crotch to the top of the shoe or wherever you would like the pant leg to end. Another option is to measure a similar style of pants that fit you well. Just measure from the crotch seam to the end of the hem.

Men's measuring guide

As a general rule for men, when measured correctly the inches measured will equal your size. Be sure to measure your body. Do not measure over shirts or slacks. Remember to keep the tape firm but not tight.

Neck
Measure around lowest part of your neck (where a collar would button). The number of inches is your neck size.

Sleeve length
Start at the center of the back of neck, measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down the wrist where your sleeve cuff would end.

Chest
With arms at your side, measure across the fullest part of your chest, under arms and across shoulder blades. Be sure to keep tape measure straight across back.

Waist
Measure your natural waist at the height you normally wear your pants. Keep the tape measure firm but not tight.

Low hip
Measure the widest point of your hip. Generally this is approximately eight inches below natural waist.

Inseam
Measure inside of your leg from crotch down to the top of the shoe or wherever you would like the pant leg to end. Another option is to measure a similar style of pants that fit you well. Just measure from the crotch seam to the end of the hem.

Additional information

Not able to measure?
If you are not able to take measurements, we recommend ordering the same sizes you normally order in retail clothing or other uniform apparel you have purchased. For example if you normally wear a women's size 6, we would recommend ordering a 6 from us. Sizes do vary by product type and brand but in many cases this will work for you.

Special order sizes
Our website shows all available stock sizes for each style. If you need a size not shown, it may be available as a special order. To inquire, please email us with the style number, color, size and quantity needed. Special order sizes generally require six weeks processing time and are not returnable. There is an additional charge for special order sizes.

Please note that garments with embroidery or other customizing options can not be returned/exchanged unless defective. Please proof your order carefully before submitting. The embroidery process uses a backing material which will be trimmed but is visible on the inside of the garment. Certain garments may have an inside pocket that is behind the logo location, sewing your logo in that location will sew the pocket closed rendering it unusable.

On orders of 36 or more pieces, we offer several addiditional custom locations (custom locations are specific to certain garments. Please see the 'Embroidery' link at that bottom of this page for more information. You must inquire for setup before placing your order for custom locations). The pictures below are intended to show the general locations for embroidery & do not reflect exact measurements. While placement of your embroidery will be generally as shown here, we will use our judgment in determining the exact positioning. Because of differences in garments, sizes, designs and limitations inherent to the embroidery process the exact location may not be identical from garment to garment however the general location & overall appearance depicted in the pictures below will be maintained.

Below are our stock thread colors. If you would like to use a different color or need to match a specific PMS code please inquire for details before placing your order. Slight variations in thread color may occur from garment to garment, this is due to limitations inherent to thread manufacturing process. Thread colors shown may look different than actual stitched embroidery due to differences in how devices display colors and other factors that are beyond our control. Actual thread colors will appear different than printed colors when comparing side by side.
